Runny-Nose Season

As has become obvious the latest trend this season has become the red-runny-nose "look". Everyone everywhere is "wearing it"... however all failing miserably to "pull it off".

People have actually chosen to strip down to bare skin and flesh. Are people all around the world layering down? Taking off their burberry trench coats and stripping down to spaghetti tops?

We recommend for the very first time to not follow a "trend" (as popular as it might be), and "coat up".
Miss Selfridge Grey Bubble Trench Coat, £60

Paul & Joe Sister Wool Triple Button Coat, £300

If you despair of winter's grungy dark palette, then a bright winter coat could brighten up your life, and your wardrobe. Avoid colour overkill by keeping things short-and-sweet, such as this super-cute pea green A-line coat by Paul & Joe Sister at asos.com.

Topshop Silver Domed Girly Coat, £80

Stand to attention! There is a distinct military feel to this Topshop tomato red coat, with its dome buttons and double-breasted shape. Perfect for those bored of the typical neutrals, this scarlet style will certainly ensure that you stand out from the crowd.

Warehouse tartan coat, £110

Don't be scared off by this season's tartan trend. An all-check coat may seem like a bold choice, but it will inject an instant dose of high fashion into your wardrobe. Try this style by Warehouse; you may be pleasantly surprised.

Thomas Burberry Black Cape at My-Wardrobe.com, £168

Beware trying on this Thomas Burberry Black cape: once on, you may never want to take it off. In chunky cable knit with black leather waist belt, it will not only keep you seriously warm, but is achingly on trend with its voluminous shape.

Dorothy Perkins Blue bow neck coat, £75

Opulent jewel tones make an elegant, and slightly different, choice for your winter coat this season. We love this bow neck design by Dorothy Perkins, with its chic full skirt. Concealed fastenings allow the luscious colour to remain the focus.

Some of the latest most fashionable layers of clothing this season, now please help us defeat the ruling days of the Common Cold.
